Buddy McRae

Buddy McRae is the Chief Operating Officer of Tallahatchie General Hospital. He oversees day-to-day operations and planning at the direction of the CEO and Board of Trustees.

Prior to joining Sunflower, Buddy practiced law for almost 20 years with an emphasis in commercial litigation. Buddy’s education and background give him expertise in risk assessment and management, legal and regulatory requirements, contracting and procurement, construction and governmental relations. Buddy is a graduate of Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi School of Law. Prior to enrolling in law school, Buddy served as a staff assistant to United States Senator Thad Cochran in Washington, D.C. Buddy serves as an officer and director of his neighborhood homeowner’s association and as a deacon at his church. He likes college sports and spending time with his daughters, who live with him in Oxford.
